Mabtech is a Swedish company developing immunoassays and instruments for life science research. Our headquarter is located in Nacka Strand, where all essential functions, such as R&D, production, QC, supply chain, and sales & marketing, are based.

About the Role

The Head of Quality will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's quality management system (QMS), ensuring that all processes and products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

You will lead the daily operations of a small QC team of three people, while also being hands-on involved in ISO audits, maintaining quality documentation, and leading investigations related to customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer satisfaction by embedding quality at the core of Mabtech’s activities.
• Maintain and manage the company’s Quality Management System.
• Lead the Quality Control (QC) team, providing operational guidance and support when needed.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on quality related matters with key stakeholders across the company.
• Investigate internal nonconformities and customer complaints.
• Represent the company in external communications regarding quality, including ISO certifications and customer relations.
• Lead the sustainability efforts at Mabtech. 

About You

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Research experience is an advantage.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a Biotech or MedTech environment focused on research-use-only products.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; experience with ISO 13485 will be helpful.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of guiding teams and fostering a culture of quality.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is highly valued.
• Pragmatic and quality-conscious, with a structured and thorough approach.
• Confident, integrity-driven, and able to manage diverse quality-related challenges with a hands-on attitude.
