We are currently looking for Scientists within Analytical Chemistry who are interested in future consulting opportunities with our clients in the Life Science sector in Uppsala.

About the role

As a consultant, you may join multidisciplinary teams working within R&D, analytical development, manufacturing support, or quality. You will contribute to the development of new products, optimization of manufacturing processes, and investigation of analytical and technical challenges.

The work may involve the characterization of a broad range of chemical and process-related samples using chromatographic and complementary analytical techniques. You will collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, production teams, and quality functions to generate reliable analytical data that supports research, development, and manufacturing.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Performing qualitative and quantitative analyses using chromatographic and other analytical techniques.

• Developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting analytical methods.

• Characterizing chemical compounds, formulations, materials, and process-related samples.

• Supporting product and process development through analytical investigations.

• Participating in troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations.

• Validating or transferring analytical methods.

• Interpreting analytical data and communicating scientific conclusions to cross-functional teams.

• Documenting work in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Your profile

To succeed in these assignments, you likely have:

• A Master's or PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

• Experience from an analytical laboratory in industry or academia.

• Hands-on experience with LC and/or GC for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

• Experience in analytical method development, optimization, and problem-solving.

• Familiarity with complementary analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, titration, or similar.

• The ability to critically evaluate analytical data and communicate results in a clear and structured way.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
